Free school supplies return for 2022-23

Grants Pass School District 7 will offer one free set of school supplies for all elementary and middle school students this fall, helping all K-8 students start the new school year prepared for class.
Supplies will be delivered directly to schools and teachers and distributed to students at the beginning of the school year. Students should bring a backpack to school and wait for direct contact from their school or teachers for any other personal items that might be needed. School offices are closed through July 31, 2022.
“As a district, we are very happy to be able to provide this and eliminate one more barrier for our families,” Susan Zottola, Director of Elementary Education says.
District 7 is investing approximately $125,000 to purchase supplies for its 6 elementary schools and 2 middle schools which support nearly 4,000 total students.
