a Message from the Principal

North Middle School Students and Families,

Welcome to North Middle School, home of the CaveCubs!

My name is Alicia Timbs, and I am excited and honored to serve as your principal. As a proud graduate of the Grants Pass School District and Southern Oregon University, I know our community well. As a mom of two middle-school-aged boys myself, I know firsthand that these years can be a bittersweet time that is both rewarding and challenging. It is our goal at North to support all students and families on this journey, preparing them socially, emotionally, and academically for high school and beyond.

We are proud of our 80 highly qualified and passionate teachers and staff who go above and beyond to ensure every student receives the support they need to succeed. We also offer a wide variety of extracurricular activities, including Art, Media Arts, Outdoor Ed, Robotics, Theater, Woodshop, Yearbook, and much more. We believe these options provide our students with a well-rounded education that prepares them for success both in and out of the classroom.

We value your support and involvement. We believe that communication and collaboration are key to a successful school year, and we encourage all families and community members to stay engaged.
